Buy new: $24.49 I absolutely recommend swaddling. With these, swaddling is foolproof-even in the middle of the night-& by Daddy! I used the fleece version for my winter baby, but the bamboo seems like a good option for summer babies. Buy at least 2-you will wash these a lot! You probably won't need the bigger size-by the time they grow out of the small one, they're probably ready for a wearable blanket instead.

Buy new: $12.99 Don't by "burp cloths" - they are too small and not very absorbant. Buy about a dozen of these for everyday use. For away from home, pick up a few cute bib/burb cloth sets on etsy (I liked the ones sewn with cotton chenille).

Buy new: $43.42 A nice-to-have. Great for the first month or so, when all you want them in is a onesie and a blanket because you change their diaper hourly. Especially good for summer babies, because the fabric is so breathable. I've also used them in times of high fever as a blanket to comfort yet not hold in too much heat. Or, as a sheild from the sun over your carseat. So many uses!

Buy new: $9.98 Why didn't I find one of these?! It would have saved us so much stress! First, there's no danger of going 'too far' - a fear that keep me from taking my son's temp, and second, no danger of forgetting which thermometer was used used on the baby when Mom needs to take her own temp!

I also think it will come in handy 15 years from now when he's downstairs watching movies with his girlfriend! =)
